Instagram, the photo sharing platform owned by social media giant Facebook has finally launched a feature that enables users to switch between accounts on their IOS and Android mobile apps. Having this feature enabled makes it a lot easier for account users to switch between different profiles as now more than ever there is rise of profiles dedicated to businesses, bands and many other topics.
Each device has the possibility to add up to 5 accounts, clearly showing the profile image in the bottom right corner of the app which account is active so avoid posting on the wrong page.
Here is how you add a new account on your Instagram App:
- Go to your profile settings to add an additional account.
- Insert the username and password of the account you wish to add
- From there, tap your username at the top of your profile to switch between accounts.
- Once you have multiple accounts added, you’ll see your profile photo appear in places throughout the app so you can always tell which one you’re using at the moment.
